　　日本游戏开发商BANBAI于1月24日正式公布了他们将在PS2主机上推出改编自同名动画的系列RPG《.hack(ドットハック)》。这个游戏将以分为4卷的形式推出，其中第一作《.hack 感染拡大 Vol.1》将于今年6月发售。《.hack》动画的故事背景设定为近未来的网络世界游戏“THE WORLD”为舞台，制作阵容极其豪华，角色设定为曾创作《新世纪福音战士》(EVA)的贞本义行，脚本为曾参与《福星小子》制作的伊藤和典，动画制作由曾制作过《未来**》的真下耕一担任。游戏中将会重现动画中的世界观，并会随游戏同捆《.hack//sign(ドットハック サイン)》的OVA DVD。
